Client: Ards Borough Council
Contract Period: 2 Months
Location: Cloughey Beach, Ards Peninsula, Co Down. The area is a part of the Mourne Coastal Route and a designated Area of Special Scientific Interest (ASSI).
Project Details:
- Construction of over 280m of 1.4m wide bespoke timber boardwalk & viewing deck over grassland, bracken & sand dunes
- Excavation and formation of levels for boardwalk & viewing deck
- Formation of earth mounding & raised beds (up to 1.2m high) to Tennis Courts & Bowling Green
- Planting scheme to raised beds
- Installation of seating
- Drop kerbing to car park
