Project Details:
The project consisted of the construction of new Battery Storage facility located within ESB Power Station at Aghada, Co. Cork.
The contract included the following:
- Levelling of existing site
- Removal of existing building and vegetation
- Cut and fill site and temporary compound area
- Installation of ducting
- Installation of concrete plinths
- Installation of site drainage
- Construction of house and auxiliary transformer bases
- Construction of Grid Transformer bases
- Cable trench and slip trenches
- Installation of chain link and palisade fencing
- Construction of internal access road around BESS
- Reinstatement of trenching with bituminous surfacing
