Project Details:
The project for Orsted involved the Construction of an 8 turbine wind farm located between Johnstown, Co. Kilkenny and Templetuohy, Co. Tipperary. Works included the following:
- Installation of Site Tracks to facilitate construction
- Installation of 8 turbine foundations including 2 piled foundations
- Installation of cofferdam to facilitate installation of piled foundation
- Installation of turbine hardstands, blade laydown areas and crane assist pads
- Installation of drainage to facilitate the site tracks
- Installation of Box culverts
- Installation of culverts at water crossings
- Installation of cable route from Lisheen I & II to Lisheen III
