Project Details:
The project was completed in two phases between June 2023 and April 2024. Works included the following:
- Construction of a new substation compound on a brown field site
- Construction of new 6.6kV switch house with control room and associated ducting and inspection chambers
- Install a new earthing grid for the substation
- Piling and groundworks
- Remedial work to be carried out to the surrounding area
- Finished surfaces on path around the substation
- Installation of palisade fencing
- Installation of bitmac surfacing
