Project Details:
Galawhistle Wind Farm (Phases 1 & 2) was built by Gael Force Renewables which was a Joint Venture between William & Henry Alexander (Civil Engineering) Ltd, McLaughlin & Harvey Ltd and Barr Holdings Ltd. The works under both phases included;
- 22 No Vestas Turbine Foundations
- 6 miles of New Site Roads
- 22 No. Crane Hardstands
- 10 No. Culvert Crossings
- Electrical Balance of Plant (EBOP) Works involving design, cable trenching and Laying, Substation & Control Building
- Scottish Power Platform
